About Us

Keonjhar Integrated Rural Development & Training Institute (KIRDTI) is a leading voluntary, non-profit organization established in 1989 with a vision of empowering rural, tribal, and marginalized communities to lead dignified, self-reliant, and sustainable lives.

Since its inception, KIRDTI has been working closely with indigenous communities, including the Ho, Santal, Gond, Kisan, and Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs) such as the Juang and Bhuyan, across Harichandanpur, Banspal, and Telkoi Blocks of Keonjhar district. Over the years, the organization has expanded its programmes to neighbouring blocks and districts, addressing critical challenges such as poverty, food insecurity, illiteracy, livelihood vulnerability, climate change, and environmental degradation.
