KIRDTI is a leading voluntary non-government organization came to existence in 1989 with its ambition for the free and self-driven independent lives of the tribal. It has been working with Ho, Santal, Gond, Kisan and the primitive tribes (PVTG) like Juang and Bhuyan living in Harichandanpur block, since its inception in 1989 and subsequently expanded its activities to the neighbouring blocks and districts to address the issues of poverty, illiteracy and degradation of ecology. The organization has strengthened itself with the procreative and proactive people’s participation in the process of community collective action for sustainable development.
